literally 2-3 weeks before rancho released, thehunter support told me that they were fine

and they tried saying the codex saying it scored in the 620s was a different bug

the only way they even got it pushed through pretty much was from scarecrow which was a life saver

otherwise they would still be saying they are fine

had to take a break from the grind on rancho after 2000kills, and yesterday i went through all my 46 zones on Layton, figuring out what zones are the best ones.. i set up tents and tripods.. and i gotta say, i thought Layton would be much worse than Rancho, but i like it better.. 206 kills on Layton today is not too shabby

Of course! I pretty much kill everything I can- bucks are the focus with 85-100kgs being most important but after that I’ll shoot small ones and does to delete herds and get fresh ones if they’re no longer producing good bucks

The only 'tactic' that matters is killing bucks and knowing your population. everything is random so more kills = more chance of a spawn. It's that simple!

you might have 30-50 animals in your respawn pool, everytime you make a kill or every few kills you get respawns.... a random animal spawns so you can kill a whitetail and get a coyote for example. smashing a few does will force some bucks out but those does will be in your pool and spawn when you kill bucks so its all swings and roundabouts.

I didn’t pick up most of them in order to check the hole map in one run, notice if pu do this you have to restart your game in order to get respawns of the ones you didn’t pick up

@outer badger I got 5-6 zones that are doe only so Those I don’t even have to check constantly,, an I got 3 zones I check from time to time,,I check anywhere from 25-27 zones every run

I just pick up the ones that are close in order to have time to check everything in one run… I killed 2300 WT and I only picked up about 1600 of them

ok. .I dont do a set run.. i just pick a lake, and i do that, and then i go another when im done at one.. i hunt every zone, but not in a set order.. i might stop doing that, and just set a route of maybe 10-15 zones

I set a route for myself. I start at the top and work my way to the bottom lakes that have good zones (Rancho)

when you are only killing whitetail it seems like the spawn pool sometimes gets stuck and nothing comes out. then suddenly you get 50 or more respawns at once. I've noticed this a few times when all my whitetail just seem to vanish. I usually just kill a load of other species and it seems to free it up.

I have been grinding for weeks and barely even seen a Diamond.
I am a console player and cant seem to see the option to delete zones and I am getting hardly any spawns despite resetting/ffwding
I think the GO should be made easier or at least the devs to give the proper info about how to go about making it spawn...I am not a youtuber who makes a living from 10 hours gameplay per day.

I have a backpack with callers and M1 or 7mm only
