yeah the first one spawned as 100-110 with a trophy range around 550 and the second was 100-110 with around a 630 trophy range.. Both became level 4's the first cos i shut down and the second after i travelled to another map...

I delete zones all the time otherwise they end up having ever present females with the odd buck joining. If you completely wipe the zone you get a full new stock... I shoot bucks for respawns but shoot does to speed the respawns along
the zone will always come back sooner or later and in a similar position... If you have lots of zones it doesnt matter if one goes missing for a few drinktimes

I didnt shoot it as i didnt have a clean shot, i traveled to another map and back to reset the zone, the other animals at the zone were unchanged but the great one had dropped to a lvl4
I also have graphical proof they are the same animal but can't talk about it as it would contravene rule J

I get anywhere from 3-7 ish whitetail there and it’s easy to just call them out
And spam calling is exactly how I do it, I’ll sit there spamming call for a min and boom they’re all in front of me

Depends on what you mean by session- I’ll grind sometimes for hours straight but then when going to bed etc that’s when I close it mostly. Or if my whitetail don’t show up I’ll reset by closing reopening - I hope that answers your question 😅

If your game is HOT (like a hot slot machine) don’t shut it off (don’t get up from that machine) do what you have to to keep your game session going. Even if you have to go to bed, work, dinner, hospital. Leave your game running at all cost. You are on a heater and the potential to hit the jackpot (great one) is more likely to happen when your game is on a heater. Does all this make since?

My first great one came off a heater and leaving the game on over night. My 2nd one came on a definite heater. You can kinda feel it to be honest. I even told my old lady like 20 minutes before I saw my second one, that I wasn’t getting off the Xbox that day because I felt it. I left the same game session going from the second one and it stayed hot for 700 more kills then my third one popped out. Lol. Then I decided to start streaming on twitch, and my game didn’t like that so it dashboarded me. RIP

Do whitetail zones work properly?
Zones are BIG. probably at least a 100m radius from the icon/marker so be prepared for them to be anywhere in that area
And they're not on a time clock so they can show an hour early/late or not at all on any given day

Hi , Today during my GO grinding all it's fine to pass 118 WT kill but arriving on my second rotation I find but areas with only 3 WT and most of them are females and no bucks respawns ! What do I have to do ? expect ? or kill all females ? its never happened to me during all my grinding .... 3 000 WT kill 😟

if you hunting for a great one do it because you want to and you might enjoy it. its not going to be easy and just read what people say try what works or dont work and take from it what actually works for you. tripods arent needed some use em some dont.
there is no right or wrong way to do anything its just what works for you

just kill more whitetail and dont blow the zones
i personally kill 2 at most at each zone
in between i kill mallards to kill hunting pressure
then when most fav zones are clear of hunting pressure i will fast forward time atleast 4 days shut game down
then start back up normally most places with no pressure will normally have respawned whitetail back by then
i think hunting pressure effects how many respawn back at a zone
as sometimes with say 1 patch of hunting pressure and you killed two buck only one will come back

Not saying y’all are wrong. But mine will spawn with pressure, and also one day cycles work much better than advancing 3-6 days. I speak for Xbox, so what I have found may be a little different for other platforms. I just did a q&a with ladylegendxo if you haven’t seen her videos yet. It apparently has been helping a lot of people already. There will be a 3rd one as well

I had one diamond a day for a week and 2 on one of those days when i was grinding hard, i was killing between 100 and 200 so this seems to be a very acceptable ratio
although it was closer to 1 every 200 during that time i guess

I need to get a GO on layton before i go to rancho. At the moment after losing two GO's to the bug means i have no desire to grind. If they fix it and i hope they do, that will be my main aim for the coming weeks, months

Lvl5, lvl4 and Overweight 3's are all great ones that have bugged... They happen within seconds of the great one spawning... Mine spawned as 105 and 109kg and trophy ratings 540 and 630.. But the weight dropped to 85kg and the racks were gone!
I backed up my pop file when the second one spawned and everytime i use that pop file it turns into a lvl4... About 50 times now 😭😭😭

It seems to be a pattern for everyone 100 kills + 1 lvl3
istopped shooting them once, i had 11 i think at one time... when i gave up and shot them i had my first GO spawn in.
It's also a reason why there isn't a lodge tour on my youtube channel... People will see that i harvested 11 diamonds in 2-3 days and they would point the finger!

as my thinking was the game maybe replaces whitetail back after starting game back up
if you already got 3s then maybe it will replace higher with one of the males killed
i guess it comes down to if there is a really complicated system behind the spawning or if its all just random
you would have to be really dedicated to just harvest all but leave just diamonds 😁
what ive noticed already on the new rancho map while it seems very easy to get whitetail at the start the numbers drop quickly and with pressure there is no ducks like layton. some places also have thick brush bushes and such round lakes so grinding will start off really fast there but slow down quickly. it will be interesting after 400 - 500 how it compares to layton

I hope it does to be honest those massive herds just look like they've simplified things to me....
Whereas layton had them spread around the whole map they seem very localised on rancho... Whether the devs realised or not those whitetail are going to be the main attraction
