Making money is easy. Just shoot stuff. I only played my maps, never mp. I also ONLY shoot males since i started playing. If i had shot fems also i would have easily had 15+millions. I only play on 3 maps so my only expence is ammo and scent eliminator. Ofcourse i have some money then. I do easily between 30-60k each time i play. And i play maybe 3-7hours each day. Not hard to get money att all considering all animals bring 700-1500.

Here what I think happened if this was a glitched GO: Since they made no more overweight diamonds, which he might otherwise have been, he was put to weight 70-85 vs the 85-100 estimate, which made him score the same way a 82kg whitetail would score

Not sure GOs are glitched, people think they are many times cause they are frustrated not getting one after 30 kills. Patience. It took me 3000+kills haha. Anyways, as always, EW messed something up. Since this one is lvl 4 it’s possible this is a great one glitch, although not likely considering the weight, but it may be related to why some glitch GO are over lvl 3

So this is weird, Scarecrow has his save file from when he got his lvl 5 109kg troll great one and when he checked it right now it turned into a lvl 4 whitetail with a 55-70kg weight estimate and a lvl 1 rack

So his troll great one turned into a lvl 4 so this update definitely did something to them, maybe leveled them down and made them more common if more people have gotten them? Idk

Youre right in one regard that the fake GOs have been mainly UW now. But it even says under "report a bug" that in the next patch anything OW should make GO. But if you get a level 4 or 5 thats OW its a bunk GO. 🤷 And there are some regular weight level 4 and 5s being shot which is just like the mulies from before like you said.

@restive cedar If you cant claim an animal try to fast travel somwher far away and travel back to your kill, that usually fixes that issue, for me it has. Sometimes it despawns bit most of the time it works

If you have a pressure zone on the map that will work. If there’s not pressure zone then the animal was never actually killed and it’s somewhere else on the map

@wicked cradle killing fems might do something i have somewhere around 10 000 kills and only five of them have been female but i dont have nearly as good rare count as say flinter who shoots everything. In my GO hunt, 3000+ kills only yielded 1 rare. Now thats rare

@white swan yeah but i think he means he saw it drop and went to claim it and couldnt. Somtimes pressures dont accure untill much later alltough you saw it drop and it was a fresh animal and not something you shot at earlier. Then the pressure comes where you shot it the first time.

Well what can happen is the animals are out of sync and although you shoot it and it appears to die, it’s not actually there. That’s why no pressure comes up as you didn’t really kill anything despite what you’re seeing. And these animals can never be claimed no matter what you do unfortunately. But if there is pressure, there is hope 🙂

Not true for me. I have seen it drop and have claimed it but pressure doesnt come untill much later. That is out of sync however. And sometimes Even with pressure i still couldnt pick ot up untill i left the area and went back.

Whitetail are definitely working better. I reset to 1230 and they show up around 1245-1300. Getting respawns on one day resets too.

Yup, WT respawns works as they are supposed to now. I finally finished setting up my map last night to every single WT drinking zone, and I can consistently do a round, reset time, restart game and do a new round over and over again.

There seems to be more drinking zones aswell, I'm averaging around 30ish bucks/hour which is definitely decent.

So that would in theory mean my map is going to spawn out a diamond every 3.5ish hours of consistent hunting and then it's just a numbers game till a GO spawns. Perhaps this means my dream of a trio GO multimount is finally feasible, if GO's is fixed that is.

(Every time you kill a buck, there is ~1/100 chance of a diamond to spawn, just incase you were wondering.)

There's a skill in one of the perk trees that lets you do a spook whistle instead of the standard one. It freezes animals temporarily. The number of times I've seen an animal moving towards a need zone instead of standing still and ignoring my calls has made me regret not getting this skill XD.

If you get it, be sure you're ready for the shot because they'll bolt a moment later, higher level animals bolt way faster too.

I just use the .22 to do that. It’s more effective anyways and the animals won’t flee 98% of the time

Why after killing 5 diamonds are all my deer level 1 and they respawn as level 1s again and again like I get maybe 2 level 2s per run of my 19 drink zones

@wicked cradle what I've done to get them to respawn right is delete the small zones if it keeps spawning small bucks, if u get a zone all doe then shoot every single doe in the herd, and also in general u can delete zones because regardless the same number of whitetail will always be there due to the games coding to upkeep the same population

@pliant oak if I had to take a guess somewhere between 2000-2500. I ended up with 17 diamonds and 7 level 3 trolls before he popped up. All since the dog release. Hope this helps.

@full cave when you go to the zones, don't shoot immediately if there are any bushes or trees nearby. Use your caller, and wait maybe 1-2 mins to lure every deer out. U would be surprised, sometimes I will see 2 bucks and a doe, then use my caller then boom 6 more bucks come out where I never expected right behind them.

Offline or single player hacking is one thing, like if people wanna do that and it makes them feel accomplished, EW didnt put much if anything at all in their way of doing so, they spent their money, bought the game, idk... I'm not exactly for it, but the only harm is if they're posting the trophies all the time, somewhat "devaluing" the legit ones, if people see them posted all the time, especially great ones. When it comes to multiplayer hacking though, that is becoming far too prevalent and something probably needs to be done to save any value that "trophy" animals have. Thats still really cool to see, live on the hoof, and I hope, for you, some motivation to continue the grind in single player if you've been doing one, in hopes of getting a legit one.

Definitely a few. I’ve shit the occasional diamond thinking it was legit, only to realize there were diamonds everywhere and they were hacked. So later on I’ve left things like diamond wildebeest or ones I don’t care about as much in servers to sort of “make up” for the illegitimate diamond in my counter

Yep its not like it used to be where WT drinking where by the water. Lots of them are up in the forests like blitz said. You have to be constantly scouring your entire map. I hunt drink zones,Ive said this several times,ive got more feed zones down by the open water than I do drink zones. So dont do what everybody else does and hunt only drink zones. Hunt them all esp the am and pm feed zones. 🤷

ALSO if you see a zone with all does, shoot them all and erase the zone. or if you have a zone thats consistently only spawning 1 buck and 2 does or 3 does erase it. @somber turret this willl create a new zone with new deer somewhere on ur map, allowing new bucks to potentially spawn. also, when u do find them near bushes, always call them in. 99% of the time there is deer in the bushes u cant see

i actually had 3-4 instances today where i had a max weight wt buck come out that you would have never seen

once you have the need zones you can just visit each one often with tents near by check em and slaughter whitetail

then its down to the hunting gods if you get one after your next whitetail or 10000th 😁

@strong thorn if you are in multiplayer and see someone get a 500 session score blacktail, moose, elk, anything up to 5 its a diamond, anything diamond lv3 is 250, and anything diamond lv9 is 1000 session score. however quick kill can lower the number if its too slow. but that is a 100% if its those numbers above

@idle hull hunt the whole river system, check brushy areas near the edge of river that u would not expect. When u find a herd use ur caller because they usually have extra wt hiding. Check western roonachee lake in the corners, check the lakes near cheelah, check balmont lake. 12:30-15:00 is when to start so you see all zones, if u see doe only zones delete them by shooting as many of the does as u can.

Check top right lake as well
