The more solos you keep on the island, the more pairs you may lose from the island. Possible theory I have. Game seems to like to keep 6/7 pairs/solos on the island. Anything above that, more likely to bounce. So those solos you're keeping may be taking up pair real estate for you

Every map has a "maximum" on the 4 lakes, once you surpass the "maximum", you will get consistent bouncers

My bear maximum is 8

Anything more and they'll bounce out in maximum 3 runs
