Oh so basically all hm is is leaving low stacking a bunch of low levels on your map so that bigger ones spawn so lets so I was grinding fallow what I would do it try and stack diamonds on my map and shoot down all solos to level 2s first because solos are annoying then what I would do is set up on a bunch of herds and manage them down until I have 10 zones with good males in them

If the animal maxes at:

Level 9: Keep 4's and below in exteriors (excluding wolves, 5's and below for them) (With the exception of a few small 5s that look like 4s (wolves having the same exception but for level 6s))

Level 5: Keep 2's and below (With the exception of a few small 3's)

Level 3: Keep Level 1's (With the exception of a few small 2's)

This doesn't mean you can't do even better herd managment, like 3's and below for animals maxing at 9, or target specifically lower weight estimate 2's for animals that max at 5. These are just the usual minimum levels people tend to go for

Whenever you spawn a diamond in a main, keep it, whenever you spawn a low level in an exterior, keep it

Shoot anything else

Whenever you get an exterior zone down to just low levels, take that tent and put it on another exterior

No, but having diamonds on your map causes the game to try and "balance things out", spawning more low level animals

Spawning and stacking diamonds helps bring in smaller animals. This is what helps you manage down your other zones as quickly as possible. As soon as your entire map is shot down, you want to kill off those diamonds immediately. They're clogging up space for other big respawns
