I went heavy nerd mode with mine. Boar are my first grind ever and first run of HM, but I did lots of math and tracked my population every couple cycles. Fun seeing the logical breakdown and I'm now starting to see the g1 spawn pattern for them

Imo this is both a yes and a no. For the boar specifically, the g1s weight range is within the high end of the max weight estimate. So in the foundation of HM, they "fit" easier when you take down large dimes. But if you're killing quickly enough within the respawn range, it can make that space all on its own by forcing other stuff to be smaller

My second one did exactly that. He decided he wanted to spawn and then forced all my respawns to squeeze in as 2s from being 4s and 5s. Until he fit
