You can just set the time back if you want. Exit/hittin menu and coming back just helps them get to their zones faster, that’s all. Sometimes I reset time and keep going until the respawns are weird, then I’ll exit/come back.

It’s not really gonna break anything either way. You might just notice animals aren’t there/they’re nervous more often if you don’t exit

As with any grind without hm it can be a quick one or a long one. Ive seen both of those happen with people who didn't hm their wolves. But for those that have 10+ wolves and having consistently short grinds, they all have exceptional hm, myself included. Take that how you will

The same way you can be herd managed and have a dry streak of diamonds, the same thing can happen if youre hm and go after 1 G1. It can be long. But if you grind 10 of them while herd managed, you'll see you average drop down to 1 in 400-500
