I would go lake to lake and set markers at each lake so when you get about 100 meters out from the lake you should start walking and looking at the edges of lakes

If you want to spend less money you should set your time to about 8:30 but white tails are bad about getting in their zones they can be really late sometimes so if you have the money i would set it to about 10:30

Yes, both techncially. However the chances of spawning a great one while not grinding are extremely low, so don't expect to see one unless you set up a grind as said in my previous message. When you spot an animal with the binoculars, you can tell if its a great one by the level of the animal. If is says 10 - FABLED then it is a great one. If you understand what the species normally looks like, then if it looks "funny" you can tell its a great one as long as it says 10 - FABLED

if it looks funny but says anything but 10 - FABLED, it is a rare fur type usually
