Wolf genetics are really interesting but as far as aware the reason that redbrown wolves are so incredibly rare in the wild is the fact that they don’t have the gene that enables full brown naturally. When it comes to the wild grey wolf they have the the grey gene kk (if black it’s KK as that is the dominant gene) but the brown gene present in dogs is not naturally present in wild wolf populations. So a brown wolf would have to be born with a mutation that causes it to be brown

I think i just screwed my grind. Had 2 diamond wolves in zones not far apart. Killed one(didnt pick it up) went to the next zone and scared the diamond away so I exited to main menu(first diamond still wasnt picked up) i got back in the game reset time killed the 2nd diamond went to look for the first diamonds body in the exact spot i had marked and its not there anymore.
