If you're doing herd management then you need to manage down all your zones except for the ones that you will be using as your main zones

And the multiple feed zone times don't really do anything, it's just the same group of animals but in different locations

I'd try as much as possible to grind 1 feed time for simplicity, but it's fine to go to multiple zone times, as long as you don't set up on the same zone twice

So, everytime when I accidentally shoot a female on my tahr grind, the female jumps to a different zone. Can I shoot an extra male from my zones that have 1 female now since that would leave the zone at 1 female and 1 male? Im just confused why the females jump to a completely different zone that I grind everytime.

Theres no way they are all solos.

Also I believe all of the zones were male only and I kept leaving two of the smallest males in the zones, now some of them just have a female mixed in.

Then you gotta choose zones that have more consistent respawns with 2 males in them, but what happens most of the time is that when there were originally 2 males and only one comes back, the second male is most likely a joined solo that jumped somewhere else. It's dumb, because if you want to get huge amount of kills per run, you have to learn their jumping spots and manage tents effectively. It happens a lot to me, if I notice that the respawns are missing, I know exactly that a solo male jumped into an actual solo zone (because most of the time they join another herd in my case)
