what does shooting zones down mean and do?

making the zones you dont want to hunt have males only lvl 2 or lower, the main zones you will switch between you want as lvl 4s and lvl 5s so that those respawn hopefully bigger, so you keep the zones you are not actively shotting at with as small as possible

scarecrow on YouTube has a bunch of great explanations and tutorials on how to do it.
The idea is leaving lower level of X species in zones that you aren’t hunting therefore larger animals will have to spawn to balance the scale of animal levels

I tried hm on them awhile back and it never really worked. Now that I’m shooting everything with 140 to 175kg it’s actually working. Glad I didn’t just go into today blindly because I would’ve made the same mistake.
