Finally got my great one whitetail after 1976 kills and just in time for the new map! I had 60 diamonds, 13 trolls, 6 Rares, and one super troll on the way to get him.

Anybody know how to kickstart stuck respawns? I'm almost 3000 kills deep into my whitetail grind, and every 5-10 runs the game locks my respawns up for a couple days. Same issue with fallow. I know I have all my zones, and already have a G1 off the fallow grind. Just wondering if there is a fix for this?

It could have something to do with a larger amount of the map being managed down

(This doesn't make sense but hear me out)

Let's say you have a map with 50 zones, and a map with 200 zones (same species). On both maps, you manage all the animal's zones but 8.

On the map with 50 zones, 84% of your map will be managed down, while the remaining 16% of your map will be filled with shooter animals.
(50 - 8 = 42
42/50 = 0.84
0.84 × 100 = 84%)

On the map with 200 zones, 96% of your map will be managed down, while the remaining 6% of your map will be filled with shooter animals.
(200 - 8 = 192
192/200 = 0.96
0.96 × 100 = 96%)

The map with more zones has a higher percentage of its animals shot down, and therefore delivers a better diamond rate.

Something I'd like to add to this is that some species' diamond rate does differ from another species, like on a map with little zones for a species, like Fallow on Te Awaroa, you can still get a pretty good diamond rate. So having less of a population on one map doesn't mean that you will always have a bad diamond rate, and even if you have the same amount of zones for 2 species, it's highly likely that their diamond rate will be totally different from each other (Moose in particular I have seen have slightly higher diamond rates, despite having a lot of zones on a given map). That being said, if someone were to fully manage Fallow on Hirschfelden/Emerald Coast, you would probably get an even better diamond rate than on Te.

(Again, this is probably irrelevant and has nothing to do with the actual reason as to why it works like that lol, but does kind of make sense in my brain)
