Only way this happens is if you created a dead zone, or you killed females and they created a new zone but you more than likely killed some outside a tripod and made a dead zone

they have a 50/50 chance of swapping places

you check your 4 lakes and if it had 2 females and now 1 well your wap shoulda worked, but you want a total of all females in your lakes and keep track if you went from 5 total to 4 in all lakes then it worked for sure
