so i switched over

so far it's not been bad

kill per hour rate is definitely down a bit but not by much

can still get 70-90 an hour i'd say

so like for example i discovered a zone thst had 2 bulls and 3 cows and i went and checked and it was a group zone of five. i set up on it and shot the bulls. the next rotation i only had one bull and the rotation after that no bulls. it's been an all cow zone for i don't even know how many rotations now, i just pulled my setup from it

From what I get this is super common with foxes. I think it’s due to the management. Like because pair management puts one in respawn purgatory you can’t fully manage it the same way you do with other species due to the missing foxes.

But if you allow both foxes to be there you run the risk of your respawns not coming in in general.

Unfortunately I don’t know of any ways to get the best of both worlds with it

I’m not sure why but many people have had the issue where your main zones slowly stop respawning. It’s been so common and pair management to my knowledge is only fix for it that’s worked.

One of my friends spent 3+ hours checking his zones repeatedly with not a single fox respawning until he did pair management.

I had begun to experience it on my end when I first started my grind where I began to get less and less respawns. I wasn’t going to go any management until then.

I decided to try pair management as my bare minimum for it and since then I have always had extremely consistent respawns in which it seemed I begun to have even more pairs spawning then I originally had

When others began to have this issue I recommended trying it and so far it has worked for everyone who had respawn issues prior

And it worked on other maps too

I mean I suspect it works because the map wants balance in the population. Taking out a single fox out of pairs putting it into respawn purgatory makes the map want to balance by allowing for more consistency in spots in which the pairs are being grinded

Its kinda like how HM works, by filling the rest of the map with low levels it wants to spawn higher levels more consistently.

It’s all balance in the coding

But that’s also why I say that I think it’s the reason as to why foxes are not super consistent with high level respawns

If you go off the harvest screen I wouldn't trust it. At least on console. It said I had 4,165 kills for like 3 months and then started moving again. After that I don't look at it. Oh and it says I got 1 g1 when I got 2 on single player

Yes you can swap solos and pairs, it’s just a more specific process

To swap a solo for pairs:

• when you swap pairs you have to shoot one of the two and claim it per normal. That will force it into the respawn purgatory. Do not shoot the other yet.
• Give it some time (basically do a normal run)
• Come back to the pair and shoot the other, do not claim.
• Go to your solo female, shoot and don't claim.
• Main menu
• Come back and reset time and do a run or two to see the results, may have to be done again
