Hello 👋 I purchased Salzweisen Park when it released and wanted to do a GO Pheasant Grind ( HM ) however I've found myself not even really bothering to start one ( mix of laziness and confusion or lack of knowledge ) and would like to know how and what to do in order to set a Grind up I'm abit of a halfwit so I'd appreciate it if you could simplify it as much as possible and do it in points that way it's easier to understand ( demanding I know 😁 ) but I appreciate the help in advance

Go to zones and figure out where the pheasants fly because they always fly in the same direction and set up your tent in that direction no need to hm just shoot pheasants

Here’s info on the island method and the method map

Basically you’re going to only grind the left landmass of salz (foxes have their zones along the red). And unlike most grinds you’re going to shoot both males and females. This is required because most of the foxes you will see are in pairs.

Pairs can only be 1 male and 1 female. You must shoot both foxes for them to respawn. They will not respawn if you only shoot one.

We recommend setting up a full 16 tents around your island approximately 360m apart from each other as exampled in the map, however you should adjust your tents to whatever works best for you and your grind as all maps are different.

When finding the initial zones on your island you should make note of the Solo Females and attempt to either swap them out with Pairs or Solo Males. (just ask for pair swap Instructions).

To fully HM you’ll want to shoot down your solos and pairs on the right side of the map. Females to 5 and below. Males to 4 and below.

Another way to HM is Pair Management:
Pair Management is when you shoot only 1 fox out of Pairs on the right side of the map leaving the other alive in your exterior zones (right side of the map).
You can either:

• shoot only males out of pairs for basic management
  Or
• Shoot the Higher level fox out of pairs for better HM
  As long as one remains alive it will work the same. It’s entirely up to you.

Try your own map I would suggest as you can switch the time whenever you want like if you joined a multiplayer that was ideal with little of the map being explored but it was night so you couldn’t really see that would suck so I would stick to your own map but if you really can’t find any trophy snow leopards go to multiplayer but also remember kill every snow leopard you find

Basically you’re going to only grind the left landmass of salz (foxes have their zones along the red). And unlike most grinds you’re going to shoot both males and females. This is required because most of the foxes you will see are in pairs.

Pairs can only be 1 male and 1 female. You must shoot both foxes for them to respawn. They will not respawn if you only shoot one.

We recommend setting up a full 16 tents around your island approximately 360m apart from each other as exampled in the map, however you should adjust your tents to whatever works best for you and your grind as all maps are different.

When finding the initial zones on your island you should make note of the Solo Females and attempt to either swap them out with Pairs or Solo Males. (just ask for pair swap Instructions).

To fully HM you’ll want to shoot down your solos and pairs on the right side of the map. Females to 5 and below. Males to 4 and below.

Another way to HM is Pair Management:
Pair Management is when you shoot only 1 fox out of Pairs on the right side of the map leaving the other alive in your exterior zones (right side of the map).
You can either:

• shoot only males out of pairs for basic management
  Or
• Shoot the Higher level fox out of pairs for better HM
  As long as one remains alive it will work the same. It’s entirely up to you.

Actually that makes sense because it’s basically excatly what happens when you paid manage the right side.

I’ve had a theory ongoing for the past week or so now in which when you pair manage (shooting one but not the other) it causes the map to redirect respawns to pairs that where “in queue” to make up for the missing foxes.

The fact that you have 23 females shows that they still won’t have their male respawn. But it further proves the idea that the map re-balances the missing foxes by allowed queued pairs to be able to spawn

I mean hey everyone’s got a different way to grind and everyone’s got different maps as is.

I was fortunate that 90% of my solo males to the right where already lvl 4 and below which helps.

Otherwise I just took out all the males of pairs on the right side.

I get average 4-8 pairs a run.

Originally I didn’t have any respawn issues but more so wasn’t seeing anyhting big. Once i managed my pairs I found I could more consistently run my rotue and ontop of getting larger males (I spawn tons of mythicals but 9s are rarer, though I believe that’s partially rng being that I had very consistency mythicals spawns and usually it would be 2 a run)

But upon learning about that that’s why i started to tell people to pair manage on the right. It makes a huge difference surpringly due to how the map balances which I find fascinating

If you haven’t done this yet you’ll want to on the right side of the map.

The reason for this is because with the way the map balances it’s very common for people to have issues with respawns.

By doing this you will make it so that about 20 foxes are unable to respawn. (Put them into respawn purgatory if you will). The map will re-balance these missing foxes by redirecting respawns to the island more consistently
