Well the good news is that wt are easy to manage overall because of them only having 3 (well 4) levels.

You’ll want to start by finding all of your zones, whether it be Layton or rev.

From there you’ll decide which zones are your best ones (zones that have a good size herd that’s not extremely brushy, things like that). These will become your primary/interior zones. They will be the ones you grind.

Every other zone is going to be an “exterior” meaning you will manage them down but not grind them.

When managing you are going to shoot the males until they respawn as a lvl 1. (So if it’s a zone you don’t like and it’s got a 2 or 3 you want to shoot it, and when you come back and look to see the respawn and it’s not a 1 you shoot them again until they respawn as a 1.)

It will take time. But by shooting your exterior zones down to 1s you boost your dime rate in your interior zones.

That being said if you have a 1 in your interior, you will still shoot it because you wnay that deer to be apart of your main zones.

And if I got anyhting wrong for those who have done the grind PLEASE correct me! It’s been a long time since I looked into wt

I use herd management and I have 95% of my population on the right of the map with only low levels, 4 max for males and 5 max for females, but I don't notice any change in my rotations, 300 kills counting only males so probably 600 with females and I haven't had a single trophy yet, it's so boring ....

shooting higher end trophy animals and being selective increases it more

i had 70 diamond red deer in 200 kills doing that
