I havent done it on rev yet, but get enough shooting zones (should be easy in comparrison to layton) so you moose respawn properly and obv keep all femals up to lvl 2's in the zones you will leave after managing them down

imo, the best GOs are the fallow and moose, specifically because they have so many different variations. that's what make a GO a GO, the difference between it and the normal version of the species. the whitetail is also a really good GO, but we're now just getting worse and worse GOs every time
