Okay so this is kind of insane.. I just got cotw on pc about a week ago. Been grinding a bit. I joined a random server, spawned in a random tent. I walk out and across the water I see this thing and by some measure of luck got a clean kill shot. Literally after spending 2-300 plus hours on Xbox I come on pc and kill this great one bear… I don’t even have a diamond yet.. thank god I bought the trophy lodge dlc before I started playing..

thats not the case no, respawns dont go in the exact same zones if you shoot them, they might bounce to other zones and perhaps the 4 to 5 zones that you are talking about
