I’d say fallow is your best bet. So go to Te Awaroa and find all your fallow drink zones on the right side of the map.

I've been looking around online to try and find an answer, maybe I just haven't been looking enough so hopefully someone here can answer it for me - Are Great Ones account based or map based? My friends and I play a lot together on my maps so would their whitetail kills on Layton Lakes for example count toward the possibility of one spawning or should I only worry about my kill count?

Great ones are map based to your account. So if you and your friends are killing on your map, the respawns count to only your map. Any respawns that come from you or your friends killing on your map, will only apply to your map. Likewise, if you are on their map, the respawns count to their map.

I never wanted to do te as my first g1 map as it feels like a cop out to me (since reds only have 13 spots to go to making setup almost brain-dead easy to do haha) but I got tired of having to find new zones on Hirsch and want/need money so I said f it and got te all set up

i wouldnt call it brain dead. more enjoyable and casual. hirsch for most people just has too much vegitation and why most dont grind there. cuatro is nice for red deer parque is too if people tried it but most dont.

If you want something more middle of the road I would recommend cuatro. Not as easy, and you need to think a bit in the smaller lakes now that tents don’t have the render distance thing.
