While I have someone knowledgeable that can answer questions, I'll try a hypothetical. If I have hunting Black Bear on SRP and I am at one of the "hotspot ponds" and there are 4 bears spread out from each other all of which are female that are rated 2-4. What do I do?

You kill one of the females and 1 male that you have on your map, then exit to main menu without claiming them, after that they have about a 50% chance to swap places, now repeat with all the females you have in said zone

I went and watched recommended guides on HM on SRP for black bear and I’m pretty confused now. They say to kill everything female at the top left 4 lakes whilst getting everything big on the rest of the map. But there was no mention of whether or not to pick up corpses or when do quit to main menu.

You need to force respawns and maybe you get a male there, don’t kill it leave it up and find all your male drink zones

You need a male there, if forcing respawns doesn’t get you one there, you might have to kill until u get a bouncer there

You want to find a male on that 3 lakes home range, only need one there,, then find all other 7 and kill one by one and forcing respawn and finding where it goes until they all become lvl6 or lower, you can have a lvl 7

By having everything low level on other lakes, once you start grinding those 3 zones you will force the game to spawn them the highest level possible on that home range

All you gotta do is shoot the female(s) in the 3 lakes “Dont Pick It Up” and find a big male in exteriors shoot it “Dont Pick It Up” once they are both dead on the ground main menu and it has a chance to have the male respawn into the 3 lakes in place of the female

There you have an idea where they could respawn once you kill

Shoot one tiger at a time when grinding or HM if you shoot multiple you’ll get lost

You want to keep track where all your tigers are and what level they are

So when you kill a male until you find it’s respawn you don’t kill another one

Literally kill all the females at your main lakes right, let’s say there’s 6 of them, and then go kill 6 males. Don’t pick any up, then close and open the map. They’ll have the chance of switching spawns- maybe only 1 pair swaps or maybe they all do. Just keep doing it like that till the females are gone and males are there

Yeah so over time you should get the females to respawn where the males were and the males to go where the females were- but it can take a few attempts!

And basically make every other male in the map small so when you start farming main lakes and forcing respawns the game feels bad about your small animals everywhere else and spawns big boos on your main ones
