Tahr are def the hardest great one grind you can do by a long shot.

This is a hunting game. The whole point was to start the game at 7am or whatever time you wanted to "hunt" and progress the day on whatever reserve you wanted. This is why animals have a full schedule. Also how the devs thought people would play the game...all the way back in 2016 when the beta was, and 2017 when the game was fully released. Over time we got used to things like drink zone grinding. Which we all do, only ones we don't do it for are the species that don't have them...otherwise we would. Ex...Tahr, Mountain Goat, Turkey...etc...etc.

Yeah is it an exploit to shoot them at the "3 lake method"...sure, but you also have to realize, some people don't even have a tiger at that lake setup. Some of us have a female and it will stay a female around those 3 lakes. You can manipulate spawns to be a male, but they won't stay (from what I have tested so far) they will return back to their original home range.

The only people who actually benefit from this are a minority of people who actually have a male spawn at the "3 lakes" everyone is talking about. I at least don't see a way possible for them to stop this from happening. The entire engine is driven around need zones. You can't just have a animal "wonder around" because I'm sure the AI will eventually just get them all stuck to their respective corner of the map...or even yet...bug out. If it was possible with this engine...snow leopard and Tigers would have been the species they did that mechanic with. Obviously if they are also based on need zones then that is just how the engine has to operate.

I think people are trying to turn an update that is actually quite solid, given the trophy lodge bugs rn taking place. Trying to turn it into something they can benefit from by having others getting their trophies significantly faster.

I have seen multiple people state "this is like the herd management debate, all of again." I have to agree. I guarantee you a VAST majority of the people who really complain about this also use said exploit "HM grinding" so it's all hypocritical.

Can't get on people for using an exploit if you use one yourself. Have to realize that. That's just my two cents though 🤷‍♂️

We are not. I don’t think some details and tactics like grinding were properly tested this time. Tent problem also shows you that, they didn’t think that it was going to exploited. Same with tigers homeranges. Even when I was setting up tents for yak I found out why they get so late to their zones, they get stuck in rocks and geometry all the time. Hopefully all problems will be fixable.

Yeah I started a yak grind and it’s wild, I haven’t been grinding it too much but I’ve spawned 14 level 9’s and 5 of them were diamond

I was full committed to moose for months, I got burnt out and stopped during my 3rd grind, I decided to grind them again and one run later I got it

yeah i think they broke too, cause if you make they scared and they start to fleeing, thats took a long time and dont comeback to the feed zone sometimes. in my experience you can change female to male is in case your male tahr doesnt spawn
