I don’t think any maps with fallow are getting a pop reset. You can always come back to the fallow grind to kinda break up the monotony OR do smth like whitetail for one day fallow the next til you got the fallow g1, then completely switch to whitetail

first moose was around or under 900ish

but the theory would check in with HM tbh

if it really does effect GOs with rng being a factor still then it would make sense because it can take awhile to really lock down an HM grind where it's wanted

It seems once you get your first one you can get successive ones a lot faster. 12 kills is beyond lucky but they seem to come much faster than your first one of that species

Once you get your exterior zones down to 2’s and you can really focus on your shooting zones you kill way more deer per hour so it really starts to ramp up. But the setup to get to that point does take quite a while

I didn’t have the patience to get them all down to 2’s so I still have some small 3’s around the map but it seems to be working well now

I feel like most my time is spent walking the shore to get to zones or walking to pick up the animal

I’d take my 16 tents and set them up on those exterior zones, 8 zones at a time with retrieval tents then move them once you have them down to lvl 2 bucks. Leave your shooting zones alone for a while. Boring, yes. Frustrating, also yes. Worth it in the long run, definitely
