Could just be solo's. If they're low enough you can ignore them. If you blew zones somewhere and they're herds that jumped, you're outta luck. The jumps are random.

And there's no fix. It's part of the mechanics

Not checking all your zones or having zones build up will cause you respawn issues an actual can make you break down herds if you over shoot them if you ain’t HM I would run every map of your map an when you get solos shoot them an if they come back as a 2 or lvl 3 with a 150 top estimate an below just leave it to minimize bouncers for you

Basically the guide I follow (I think it’s safe to say I created it because I have yet to meet anyone in the community who has done the levels of research on them that I have)

1 - Locate burrows
2 - Place tents, roughly 30-40 meters. The burrow closest to the tent has to be at least 50m away, otherwise they don’t pop out.
3 - Place a tripod near the closest burrow location in the “cluster”
4 - Shoot as many rabbits as possible before they go back underneath the ground.
5 - once they flee, main menu and click “continue game” or whatever the prompt is to reload the game. (You don’t have to full exit cotw)
6 - once game reloads the rabbits reset.

Idk if that helps but honestly I get asked so much I feel like it would be beneficial to just make a guide video 💀

I shoot around 20-25 bears a run, a run takes me 30 minutes IRL there abouts and ive been shooting bears for over 6.2k now with 5 g1s.

Legit had everything possible happen had rares spawn in next to 9s had dimes come back as rares & vice versa & had my first g1 bear come back as a 8 cinnamon an had 2 g1 bears in the same zone 😂game just don’t want me having a super rare everyone I helped wit bears got one if not a couple

It’s random you have a certain percentage to spawn a rare while grinding but it’s not always guaranteed
