Probably one of the first things you should do mostly because of the fact the smallest respawns are usually in the beginning of a grind and that means the solos will shoot down easier

It's totally fine to only be shooting one male in a zone but if you wanna get another male in there restart your game so all your animals respawn, then kill a female in the zone with only 1 male and claim it, then go shoot a male from any zones that you have 3+ males in (not a solo zone) and claim it. leave the game and there will be a 50/50 chance the male and female swapped zones. if it doesn't work try it again till' it does

if you're using HM then stack atleast like 12 lvl 5's in your main zones and see if you start getting small respawns

once you stack fives and start getting small respawns go shoot them but I wouldn't shoot them too early or your just going to have to do it twice
