Depends on animal but for the most part, if you have 2 shooters in each of your main zones and all your exteriors are dropped. (Dropped meaning lvl 1 if max is 3, level 2 if max is 5, level 4 if max is 9)

It’s possible they bounced out, but it’s not really common for multiple zones to have all of its males to bounce out (at least for me)

It might’ve made a new zone. The female doesn’t need to be near those zones it could be anywhere. If it makes a new zone it’ll pull males from other zones since the population will always stay the same. Game’s pulling males to fill up a new zone. Or it pulled the males and the female and merged it into a pre existing zone
