If you did fallow on TA, there are more zones than that. And you don’t deal with solo bucks.

Honestly running zones takes a couple hours.

After that, just shoot what you can when you can.

I think picking up may have a had a great impact on my grind, it was quite slow and I was picking up like 80% of kills then 800 kills in i started picking up almost every kill and the great one spawned 200 kills later.

Around 75-80% of your map should be level 1s and really small 2s (like the fence rack.)
For animals that max at 5
I'm pretty sure it's level 1s 2s and really small 3s.
and for animals that max at 9
It's level 3s and 4s (2s if possible)
That's HM roughly, I'm no expert, scarecrow has a really good guide on it and I'm pretty sure ibuy has a bunch of guides too

Lake I am sitting on atm there are bear 253m from me if I shoot a closer zone on other side of lake I have to be quick to spin to them as they alert then flee.

This is how I have 1 of my bear lakes set up I have my main tent and tripod in top right corner and 253m across left of map is a bear zone just far enough to spawn in when fast travel then to the bottom is another zone which is 306m. Usually 2 bears in each zone so I shoot travel to tent there and harvest then go to another lake I have setup.

Im only shooting at 3/4 lakes a cycle so I can spare the tents but for moose, WT, Red deer or fallow can be a bit scarce to do multiple tents for harvesting so I use the atv at times on those grinds to quick fetch.

I was continuing to try for a SR lol. With moose was 1287 I didnt keep grinding them as fallow came out so swapped over and still not got a fallow

Ah, my first red took 780, then I got my next one 100 kills later

Just looking at my counter app and 1287 moose with 20 diamonds 1 GO, I am at 2263 fallow 40 diamonds no GO and 1425 bears with 52 diamonds and no GO.

I have been getting a burst of straight diamonds then it stops and I may not see one for a few days or a week lol

I was killing so many bears for like 2 weeks straight

Got it think 10 bears in the 2 weeks

8 of them were in the same week

Bears were 1 of the diamonds that eluded me for so long when I started the game well before I even started chasing a great one lol. I spent a lot of time chasing bears and mount lions on SRP before I learned of great ones and grinding. They were my 2 fav things to hunt and I never could get a dime.

I only got my 1st Mt lion diamond I think about month and half ago lol. Those things were so elusive to me even today I had a troll 9

Any thoughts on picking up kills vs just exiting to menu at the end of a run?
I've just been exiting to menu and picking up rarest or diamonds only for my whitetail grind

shooting even the tiny ones will increase the speed of 5s or above spawning

less it has to respawn more chance you have of a 5 or above

will get back on some grinding today after a few days off for christmas see what we get

if you don't care about money, don't pick up. but if you need to make some money back during the grind, pick em up.

new england because of the rivers is not easy to get around really

That depends on what you're aiming for, if you wanna shoot birds i say Revontuli coast, if you wanna hunt the big stuff is recommend New England or Layton lake

I'am not a fan of Emerald coast, to much of open space, a not really a lot of animals to hunt on, goats don't give a lot of skill point, and those kangaroo's are not really easy to shoot. There are some buffalo's to find, but because of the open space they spot you before you spot them en they gone before you can even blink.

It’s one of my faves- lots of species to hunt with interesting trophies, easy money and xp grinding with crocs on the east coast, and well spaced out animals so you don’t just have to hunt drink zones

You have to pick up for one to spawn? Didn't think you would have to since you still get new respawns when you just kill deer and leave the map making their bodies dissappear and triggering respawns
