The problem with the information up there is that the stacking is being used wrong. Not its intended purpose. Having a lot of diamonds stacked on your map after the exteriors are shot down is counter productive.

My tip would to be to strategically use tripods at the lakes you know lions will be. If you can place it on a hill that will give you a good vantage point of the lake that will help you locate the lions better
They tend to stay in the tall brush around the water though
