Well let’s see, for an animal to be considered a super rare it has to be a diamond and have a rare fur/feather type. Let’s say the average for a diamond is 1 in 100 based on community averages. Then let’s say an albino is about 1 in 1000, also based on community averages. That gives a super rare a spawn rate of about 1 in 100,000 lol

Compared to people getting a GO anywhere from 100 - 10,000 kills, so an average of 1/5000.

I've started using the .338 for whitetail and I see why people do that now

quicker easier to aim less recoil

the thing is i have a theory

and if right all those that do that with unethical weapons maybe slowing their grind down

it could also help. its a bit odd really.

basically i think the levels level up or go down based on the score of the trophy

so imagine you shoot a high scoring three it goes upto a 4

but a low scoring 3 returns as a 3 or goes to a 2

now...if you shooting with a unethical gun you will be getting a lower trophy score

so maybe for a start it may help get lower levels quicker

as most threes you shoot for eg may go to twos because of the score

but later in grind it may hinder you as you want animals to go up a level and by shooting em with wrong gun that will mean less go up

so imagine a level 4 fallow gold high scorer may go up with correct gun. to a level 5 or diamond but with unethical it may go down to a 3

interesting if it works

if we know that works then you just hammer the lower levels with unethical guns to get them to respawn as lower levels quicker. would speed up the grind no end

its so frustrating that i havent got a rare or diamond fallow in like 100 kills,they just dont spawn anymore and some bucks are getting smaller or just not spawning anymore😭

Trust me dude that ain’t bad at all I recently went 900 kills with no rare and once you get your hm better you’ll see diamonds all the time

avg of just shooting random males is about 100 kills per diamond

with herd management done right its a lot less

I have a question, i have many females in my main shooting zones for black bear. If i shoot them they just come back to the same zone, what can i do about it?

you can move animals around by leaving hunting pressure and killing animals

so for eg shoot the females in the zone. leave hunting pressure there . close game they may move to a new area with no hunting pressure

or shoot one female or two. then when hunting pressure is gone you may get males spawn in the spots
