Males are the only ones that respawn into great ones and (species depending) diamonds

Some (gemsbok, hares, Bob white quail, grey fox???) Make dime as female

That said, Jaxy has said "collect your kills" to get quicker respawns

It serves a dual purpose of also keeping you in money so you can buy stuff as needed

I grinded my first diamond, wanted it bad enough after like 800 kills and not one diamond potential animal in sight so I set up a mountain lion grind until one showed up. got trolled within .1 on the first legendary and then the second legendary was a 45 minute stalk but ended up being a diamond. worth it lol

so when I started my red deer grind, I had very few 4s and 5s at my shooting lakes, I shot exclusively 6, 7, 8, and a few 9s, and a total of 6 5s, I've shot so few 5s I can remember how many I had shot. my shooting lakes are now filled with 4s, and 5s, and also 6, 7, and 8s but why are 6 and up coming back as 4s? the respawn system is so confusing lol.

is the they come back slightly larger or smaller just bs and they can come back as anything?

because that definitely the experience I'm having woth red deer

nah my main grind is red deer and I shoot about 10 to 18 fallow after my red deer. my focus is red deer so the fallow are just being shot in the chance I get a GO TO spawn

and also to clear my hunting pressure

I haven't seen a red deer diamond since day one of my grind, there were 3 legendaries on the map already, two diamonds and 1 troll, but since then I haven't seen a single legendary red deer and I've shot about 600 reds at this point

I kill around 20 to 22 per run

I do usually 2 runs, 3 if i feel I can do another and not be bored so I shoot around 45 to 60 per day. not one diamond since day one lol. yall must be lucky af getting 5 per day
