I need some help PLEASE, this is my first time ever doing a grind. First time coming back to the game in three years. ALSO first time on RVC lol.

So I’ve only visited 7 lakes and got their whitetail zones. Been making a few rotations in about the 200 kill range. I’m noticing my herds are going down to only level 1’s and 2’s. Is this a result from not locating all the need zones on the map ? I’m only shooting level 2’s and 3’s…

When I first started the grind this morning, everything was fine. Now my respawns are all level 1’s and 2’s…. Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong.

I don’t think anything is wrong, if you HM some zones will turn into all females, all 1’s, or a mix. After your map is HM, hunt the zones that have 2’s. After you get a GO, I would recommend killing off some 1’s that are in your main zones. The grind definitely takes time and could take over a thousand kills so just go with it and you should be fine.

If you don’t have a lot of zones I recommend getting more as it does help imo.

With rares, I got no clue I only have found piebalds and one mela. My guess is to shoot off the rares that you do get to make sure they don’t take up your rare spots.

After I shot the GO I joined a lfg post of someone asking for help getting their first diamond. I took him onto my Te Awaroa and we shot a bunch of red deer and got him a few diamonds, so the moose is long gone
