I have tested it few times, any animal you killed either you picked it up or not. It will respawn as new and different BUT I don’t know if not picking up the animals will effect the respawn somehow or not…

It’ll respawn the same as any other animal. It doesn’t have any negative effects on spawning your GOs, but you have to make sure you exit to menu to get your kills to despawn, since you aren’t picking them up
