I'm gonna use all 3 for a week and then put the 308 and 7mm away. because AR 308 still the best for grinding that or 303 because 5 shots, I don't use 7mm on anything higher then class 6 so to me its just a 3 shot 303 with slightly more power and can take class 9.

I need help, i found 177 zones on new england mountains for moose but when i kill moose they dont respawn, i have the same problem on every map ( i also found nearly all zones on medved ). I have moose that i spot but i dont get a needzone but still they are drinking ( next need zone is 400 m away with 1 moose )

It seems like respawns are immediate but the animals then have to travel to their need zones from wherever they spawn

But of course, no one knows 100% for sure exactly

But definitely not 6 days

Animals respawn not even when you close out the game because the game needs to keep the population up enough so there is always a population of that species on the map and you’re not actually eradicating anything. But if you want a full fledged group respawn then closing out/going to the main menu does the trick most of the time

With the way people efficiently grind nowadays, if animals did not respawn until you closed the game then you would potentially leave yourself without any whitetail or red deer

So uhm I don’t have a clicker that tells me how many I’ve shot and I can’t use the in game tracker because I didn’t pick up probably half my kills and my friend joined my world and we played together a couple of times and he killed some bucks. Today I killed about 30-40 before I shot the great one so if I had to guess it was probably 1200

Personally im convinced Hm doesn't affect great ones. Just a really bad luck run for you it seems. awhile back i had 2 great ones take over 6k each with HM, not much you can do besides keep going. Maybe switching up how you grind a bit might help. I remember i shot a bunch of 4s on my red deer grind and a couple runs later got a great one after the 6.7k grind. Then got 2 more in within 1k kills. Sometimes switching it up is all you need

Your maps all have certain amounts of big males and small males, and it always stays with that balance no matter how many you kill. Kill a small male, a small one respawns in its place. So if you kill a ton of big animals, big animals have to respawn to account and keep the balance

The grind’s gonna be mostly the same regardless of whether it has a GO or not. Only difference is that if you’re going for an SR you’ll likely wanna HM. GOs don’t need that so you can be a little more laid back with managing males
