i always just see him trotting away into the forest

right side top river and part of the top left are best for moose

also a good tip is you will often have quite large gaps in the river until next zones so inbetween stick a tent at equal distance

I think you should do something similar. Limit how often you’re grinding so it doesn’t get stale

I’m 1.2k kills since my last rare whitetail

So I have about 100 moose drink zones on Yukon, I hunt about 40 of them each run. I’m down to mostly level 2s and females. The occasional 3 respawns even fewer 4s. I got maybe 8-10 in the last run. Checked my other zones, and found about the same. Still no 5s or GO. At what point do I start shooting some of these smaller males?

About every second or third run I hunt ducks to clear hunting pressure. Still about the same. A few more level 3 respawns.

Any advice

Yukon is a good grind, just need longer time to setup. I'm gonna say you need to find more if your zones. instead of 40 zones, only pick 10 - 12 shooting zones, and only farm herds and leave the solos alone. you'll want to continue shooting moose in your non-shooting zones until they are all 2s ideally.

It’s really about 12 lakes with multiple zones on them. So the advice is work the other zones I haven’t been working to make those main lakes the shooter lakes.

Focus on setting up to be able to cover as many drinking zones as possible during your runs

Set the time to 23:00 at the start of your runs because BB are extremely late to their zones

Don’t expect more than 5-10 males an hour with how black bear are atm
