My moose GO was entirely behind a tree when I first spotted him

When I went to that lake I went up to my tree stand and only saw females

Then noticed what appeared to be another moose behind a tree so I fiddle with my binocs magnification to try and spot it and as soon as I saw the outline of the 4 antlers I nearly screamed

to explain this, me and my friend had our first time on the Savanna together (We just got the game) and we went to hunt a lion, he shot it and we went on to track it down for like a hour and an half or even more. Eventually we came to a clearing with a tree and found it, well I FOUND IT and he didn't. Something weird happened where I could see the lion running in place but he didn't see anything.

Now the story gets even weirder

because on my screen whenever he shot it or I shot it I could hear it growl and groan

but he heard literially nothing

he didn't believe me about it (Im Tzeentch btw) and I stood on it to show him it was there

in the end he left the server to see if it was on his head

I shot the lion and it DIED

but I couldn't retrieve the body

I did my grind without HM. For moose, because of solos it’s not as effective. Unless you specifically target herds and use it to manage those. The only way you run into trouble is if you have a lot of big solos.

I setup on 16 locations and naturally shot down about half of those to small 3s and 2s. I moved the 8 tents for collections and kept on rotating. I spawned 3 GO and a SR in 1k kills. There are still a lot of 3s and 4s in zones I’m not currently hunting.

My goal was simple grind for moose.

It felt very similar to red deer grind on Cuatro for me.
