My theory is that you don’t want a bunch of diamonds, for level 9 animals it seems that 6 and 7 (possibly 8’s) have the greatest chance of spawning a GO/diamonds. I’ve never spawned a GO off a diamond. That’s just my observation tho. Could be completely wrong.

I got my moose GO in 630 kills without HM and without picking up my kills. Compared to me picking up atleast half my kills and doing extreme HM with red deer, where the grinds for those took anywhere between 2.5k kills to nearly 10k kills

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a GO on Medved. I grind hard there. But somehow I don't quite understand the thing with the zones. I have all moose zones. Yesterday I accidentally shot a cow. She was alone in this zone from the start. I shot a wolf, she ran into the line of fire and went down with a perfect heart shot. On my next round, there were suddenly 3 bulls in this zone. I thought there should be a single cow spawning there again. But that's obviously not the case.

Stacking level 9s increases the odds that your other respawns spawn lower lvl. If you continue stacking 9s you’ll have basically nullified what the other low level animals were achieving in the first place

i actually got to the point on my red deer where nothing good was spawning
as it was clogged with diamonds which ive just shot 25 of the 30 to see what happens
last two or three hundred kills where just returning the same animals
when its right you should get a diamond every 10 - 20 kills
so i do believe there is a point where herd management actually starts becoming detrimental

yeah that makes sense. when you give little room for the game to actually spawn in varieties of animals to replace what you shot, it kind of is just limited to a small selection that fit the quota. since in your case, you had a lot of max levels and a lot of low levels, the game just kept spawning things in-between, which happen to be very average males lol
i might just totally avoid stacking since the game clearly wants to even out a population's average level. if there are little to no max levels and lots of low levels, it'll keep spawning max males and i'll pick them off one by one

Stacking diamonds in your good zones (the ones you grind on) causes lvl 1s and 2s spawn faster in bad zones, once they're full of lvl 1s and 2s, stacking diamonds in good zones is only bad for respawns
