Well, after doing a full run through of every piece of water that can have red deer on Te Awaroa I can confirm that my red deer populations have been reset. This was my first time back on Te Awaroa since I had killed one of the red deer GOs I had stacked. Before, I only had 14 red deer that were not level 4 or below, and now I have counted at least 50 that were above level 4. I do not know what has caused this, I am simply sharing the information here

Something i have always said ever since HM started really getting big is that this happens with every game eventually. Players will always find ways to make the grind more fruitful. No matter the game people will always find a way to use the games systems to reap more rewards

As long as you aren’t abusing scummy mechanics, I feel you should play however you find fun. Whether it be grinding or spot and stalk hunting, whether you herd manage or not, if it’s fun for you then play that way. You should be able to find enjoyment from the product you paid for

I do way to much grinding but often I will just go for a walk on Layton or silver ridge peaks just to change it up

One thing we all need to keep in mind is that G1's have depreciating value. Eventually everyone will have one, they'll feel a little less special, and someday they will probably be even easier to find. So no need to gatekeep the scaredness of them at all tbh
