Follow the poop. They usually go in a straight line if there’s poop, then if you find tracks follow the cone direction to the next poop, repeat. If you see a zone track, find the next direction they went and keep doing the same until you find the rabbit

Somewhat building on top of this, can I just say that being able to set your difficulty is among the worst ideas I’ve ever seen suggested by members of this community. If EW wanted difficulty options, it likely would’ve been a thing already. Besides, having difficulty options that would say increase rare/diamond spawns and decrease spook radius means there would be severe consistency issues between trophies. Plus, why would anyone actively choose to go on a higher difficulty besides “the challenge”. It would provide zero benefit to them and go unused by 95% of the community, so nothing would change besides the option to make trophies that some people had to grind tens of thousands of kills for far easier to get

What makes me truly mad is that a lot of people genuinely want this which makes zero fucking sense

Not even that, just the consistency between trophies would just be gone. Up to this point, everyone has had the same spawn rates for everything. Like, albino isn’t more or less common between individuals, it’s the same exact chance.
With difficult options, we just simply wouldn’t be able to compare a super rare on easy with a super rare on hard. One is far more impressive and the other basically feels like the game has been accustomed to toddlers

Might be partially due to the fact i have mentioned a couple times that its been months since anyone told me they got an initial spawn great one. Even during the reworks to TE & other maps nobody was saying they had got initial spawn great ones. So many of us were thinking they might not be a thing anymore. Just basing it off how i went form hearing about them every week to one day just nobody was getting them anymore even after updates

I discussed this with Kingkwak but I’d love to see the devs release an official spreadsheet containing zone times, home ranges and spawn rates for rares. One that would be updated alongside every update. The only reason we know of obscure rares like dark grey for wolves or brown for grizzlies is because of data miners. That’s our only way of finding out information that the devs withhold, through going through game files

It’s the opposite. you’ll have a more difficult time spawning high lvls if you have a lotta high lvl animals on your map

It eventually gets quote on quote hard because the game just can’t spawn any more low level animals no matter how hard it tries
