The number of black bears isn’t very high and this cause them to feel very few and far between. Reducing the area of the home range of the bears would be a welcome change from just about everybody who has a vested interest in them

You discover all the drink zones for the species on that map

You then shoot all the high ranking deer except for in some lakes where you shoot the low ranking deer is that correct

Sure people got lucky back then too. After the Mississippi update it was normal to see 5k-10k grinds. Now when people are picking them up and doing herd management it is unlucky to go more than 3k

The higher level red deer take a long time to come back and if it’s near the end of their drinking zone, they will start their journey to the next one. If they are with a herd, they are more likely to come back quicker.

I had to laugh on TA there was a red deer mating call from across the river at about 8am and spotted it and was the lefvel 2 which I know is a solo on that region as I wont shoot it. I hate how they arrive at zones at diff times

So statistically most people get a GO every 2k kills or so. If you on average have to kill 2k animals to get your GO spawn but also the speed at which you can get kills is significantly impaired by the game, it’s problematic

Maybe add an accuracy percentile factor or something for x amount of harvests if you remain in the top 70% accuracy percentile you have x amount of chance of spawn a great one

I would say make it to where your map has the chance of an initial spawn GO, but if you don’t get that lucky you will then need to kill 500 animals to unlock the dlc Janice of a GO spawn

This way, people new to the game and new to grinding don’t get the reward without the work.

Anyone can throw down some tents at waterholes as I have myself too and go zone to zone slaughtering to get there. My diamonds earned via walking the map or random encounters will always mean more than a grinded GO if that is how easy it is sitting by a lake shooting
