This game works in mysterious ways. I’ve been taking a break from GO grinding and have been exploring my Hirsch. Early today I found a piebald red fox in the middle of the woods. Just now I claimed an outpost and when I ran around the corner of the house I see a big white deer standing about 20m away. I shot it and I now have my first albino red deer in well over 10k kills of red deer grinding and on Hirsch of all places

He’s very uneven, but I guess I’m glad to finally get an albino after such a long time without seeing one?

You make the zones you’re not using all small deer until the zones you do use don’t spawn those small deer (fence racks and lower for whitetail, 4s and lower for RD, etc.)

I have explained in depth herd management. You have to get all of your zones you intend to grind on stacked with 3s. This allows you to shoot down your other zones to 1s. With that said, you wont have all just lvl 1s on your map. I dont think that is possible in any way. So if your shooting zones are full of 1s, you will have 2s and 3s somewhere on your map.

Thats pretty good. So your zones you intend to hunt if they have 1s. Start shooting them 2 at a time, and stack 3s back in them. That will help get the rest of your exterior zones shot down, and juice up your main rotation zones.

Dont shoot them as you go. If you shoot everything as you go its not really herd management to the best it can be done.
