Now, I understand this is a decently difficult goal to get but in about 4500 kills I’ve seen next to nothing good. A couple of tax worthy diamonds here and there and the odd rare or two but seeing nothing decent come out of your grind gets demotivating fast

So question for all the hardcore grinders out there. Would the ability to harvest dead animals without exiting the 4x4 be of interest to you? I sometimes use the 4x4 to quickly claim animals and found it funny that I have to get off of it to do so. Maybe I’m missing something, but I see no reason why this wouldn’t be a good idea for them to add realistically.

A: have tents on the opposite side of the lake because of zones, so picking up kills at that area is easy
B. Just run around a little bit and pick up kills that way
C. Don’t pick up my kills

Even when just regular hunting, I don’t see a situation where you’d need to stay on your ATV to pick up a kill. Hopping off to pick it up and then hopping back on takes like maybe 5-15 seconds depending on how long you look at the harvest screen

Do you genuinely believe that this would delay any release? It is such a small change. It’d be like changing the mag size on the .22 ar from 5 to 10

I know that, but that’s been in the game from launch if I’m correct and people use it all the time so there wouldn’t be an argument for removing it. While on the other hand a very very low percentage of players would use the atv pickup addition

Okay. I just thought that simple QoL changes such as this would be healthy for the game. Most people ask for huge reworks or additions that the devs have already explained why it’s not doable.

Exactly, the amount of time necessary to do something is extremely relevant. Adding the claiming on quads would take 30 seconds from a single developer

They are constantly improving the models of animals which takes time. Should they not do that because it could potentially cause said animal to become glitched out?

It’s a QoL improvement. Which the game needs more of. QoL improvements shouldn’t matter how small they are. They are by definition improvements, over time the small improvements will add up

tbh i think the atv and tents are so good that i wouldnt be without em

But is it worth it? The devs don’t have endless time to improve this game and they still have to crank out big dlc and updates
