The purpose of stacking is to top end your trophy scores across the entire population of a species. Once you do so respawns will come back lower overall so while they are on your map thatās when you start shooting 4s and 5s trying to get them to spawn as 2s and 3s.

It really depends on the person. Iām all in with herd management so Iād always say itās best. If you can get down to 10-15 shooters then finding them is slow but not as bad. And youāll spawn more diamonds than you know what to do with.
But to do that would be just a commitment

if it was me - simply because i dont know the racks - i wouldnt touch any 9s. you could down anything that is guaranteed troll but like i said its a matter of a few points and very unlikely that troll will come back as a 9 - so you'd have to grind another stack.
maybe try for 30-40 shooters then take your 9s.
but even then if you see your respawns still dropping really low at 30-40 shooters you may keep going.

Jaxy was definitely the first to really implement herd management. he was doing and teaching it long before GOs came out. Grim applied a very simplified and modified version of it - but I don't think he completely understood it as herd management like we do now. It worked great and was easy to replicate, hence why it took off in the community - but herd management as we know it today is better understood and complex. When Jaxy applied his version of herd management I believe he put down 2 WT GOs both between 100 - 200 kills each.
Herd management is equally applicable to WT as any other species, but they are definitely more difficult, very true. You can't use levels like you can for most other species in the game. you have to use either TR or weight. people far better at the game than I can tell TR from looking at a rack. I haven't made it to that level yet - but those that can tell find herd management with WT very doable.

Itās definitely a little bit harder with WT but I still spawned a wild amount of 3ās and I wasnāt even leaving them on my map to drive the respawns down to 55-70ās. I spawned a 3 every 30-40 kills for most of that Finland grind
