Nice. I love ice skating as well, but I do it more hockey style. I am self taught and I would say I'm quite good. But my dad put me on a pair of skates when I was about 4. Same with skis, the down hill type of skiing

I had hockey skates till about 13yo and then got figure skates, never going back to hockey skates I love the ones I have rn

I skate mostly to do some moving around and not just be horizontal at all times

I ordered mine from skatepro, they have some girly looking but also more androgynous stuff if you’d like that more

I have the white ones but the black ones look very cool too

I like the look of mine, they’re more bulky than basic figure skates but not too much like hockey skates and they’re very comfy to wear for longer times

Honestly - best suggestion I could have for you here, is go into a skate fitting open minded enough to try both

I have used mens hockey skates and womens figure skates - as a women.

Same with sneakers - I used to wear mens because better fit, but have recently found some womens pairs that actually feel good and support how I need
