For a subscription service they must update the pricing on their website and send an email informing of the price change as well since it’s an active subscription service, not a product.

It’s deceptive to do otherwise. I did not receive an email about this, and on my account when I looked it still had the price at $19.99

I had an Abu baitcaster and the internal ring within the guide rings popped out on 3 of them after like maybe 20/30 hours and I needed to glue them back on

otherwise it was fine

I kinda hate baitcasters though spinning setups are way better

I used to have a 7 foot ultra lite spinning setup for walkers/light lures for like whiting and break that was goated though

I think both bait casters and spinning reels have a place. Depending on what you're fishing for

spinning reels are way easier to get used to

it's always a pain dealing with adjusting the drag/brakes for baitcasters and gimping your cast distance or if you want your cast distance learning to thumb it

and having to avoid casting into wind

Once i got decent with a baitcaster I preferred them for a lot

and adjust your brakes any time you swap weights

plus most of the time I was sorta forced into spinning setups anyways since I often was casting light weights
