Sorry for the late birthday response to those who asked how my day was, and although i struck only the blank, my 1st freshwater angling day was a blast and the best outcome for my 30th birthday i could wish for.. I learnt how to undercast and learnt a great deal of the topography and tips from a local and reguler angler the best knowlege is always found from local sorces.. as any angler seeks, and the venue was peaceful and well managed despite being part of a busy public park.. and under the shadow of falcon nested cliffs.. i came close to my very first fish with multiable fish takes including from my target tench as their charateristic form bubbles patroled my frequently fed swim i kept baiting with chopped worm and corn.. sadly i missed ever strike ether from lack of experience or just as likly my poor qualety hooks.. the best chance of a catching strike being foiled by my reel falling off as i struck..doh ..but next trip i'll come better prepared "lol and will try not to forget my leger weights and bite alarms next time" the lake was too weedly with aglie bloom to use my new pike lures but was recogmended to return for pike come auterm october when the bloom would have cleared and pike hungry.. as lastly as i packed up i saw a shoal of Rudd the size of my hand! dance round my float and with talk of 6lb Tench and 8lb Bream with large carp and a primed old 22lb Pike known as Croc.. and the travel only a single bus of 20mins away i most certernly will become a returning regerlur here to this anceint pond of the lady.. i can't wait till my return.

Those temps are really nothing to worry about if the GPU in question is a RTX 3000 series card which is my guess with the "beast pc" comment. Also, applying thermal paste to a GPU is a lot more involved than doing the same on a CPU and shouldn't be needed with a "beast pc" that I assume is fairly new.

Sadly not, I'm from South Africa, and was really lucky that my Parents loved nature and basically took us to the bush as often as we could. Then later in life I worked all over Africa and had loads of opportunities to visit different reserves 🙂 I did in my very early 20's do a field guide course. 🙂 Something like 15,000 photos lol but going through them slowly editing them posting them.

@quartz tinsel omg you found one of our uk Slowworms... its a lizard without leggs and a common sight here localy in wales.. their harmless but can bite with their tiny wee teeth,.. but its worse if they empty their bowls on your hands and you don't have a wet wipe.. oh and careful as their tails will snap off if you hold it by that.. their also protected so be careful to put it somewhere safe away from the roads or the open where birds will kill it.. and not even eat it..

i've got photos of them too from when i recuse them in my streets, my mums wild garden at her old house is even a sactuary for them where when we lived there we'd fidn them often under rocks and in the grass.. hope mum can fix the house up, so i can bring its garden back to its full glory.. its currently overgrown with brambles and trees,.. and is mainly a bird sacutary.. for the native birds..
