you can start photographing the aurora in moderate light polluted areas at about 200nT

this is a brilliantly strong storm

you should try tracking these storms, if you do it well you can travel out to less light polluted areas and try to witness them with the naked eye

i was also lucky with the timing, i nearly missed it altogether because i had my notifications off and didnt see the tracker alert but when i finally noticed it the intensity had jumped even higher
