For a first "try it out" wheel a logitech g920 is great. People rag on them but they work for when you are just trying it out. You can get them used for 100 - 250$ us. Once you figure out if you wanna keep upgrading i would buy a moza r3(only if you are on xbox) or a moza r5. Cheap for what you get, also if you are on pc I would recommend getting a vr headset, (I use an oculus quest 2 on assetto corsa). Sorry for the yapping, not very often people talk about sim racing.

And a monitor will work perfectly fine i just prefer vr

I just finished my achievable dream car in 1:24 scale. It's an '89 eunos roadster by tamiya, luckily I didn't need to clear coat because the real ones don't have a very shiny finish. I think the taillights turned out great, (pro tip use red sharpie with aluminum paint behind it). Chose Japanese plates instead of showroom ones. Truly a beautiful car in real life, hopefully i did it justice
