Like.. If you can take care of a difficult parrot

you can handle a crow/raven

they also require more

They're stuuupidly curious, unintentionally destructive, and messy af

(most birds are messy, but these guys are above that)

They need LOTS of space for freeflight and roaming

afaik trimming their wings like one can with Parrots is absolutely a no go

the avian ambassador I talked with when I lived in the states said it does something to their minds

makes them like, actively depressed (also pretty much ensures they are 'crippled')

parrots and other hooked billed birds can at least use their beaks to grab on and stabilize while climbing

Those would be mussels, yes

Mussels, among other things (barnacles) often anchor on to hard surfaced things.

Weirdest thing I ever saw was a crab running around as a kid with a string of tiny mussels attached to its butt

A great spot to go to is stremvale farm up near where belfast is and if you get their tractor ride up they take you up to see their red deer, and up there they have an absolutely massive stag that’s beautiful for photos

Might also be some type of safari rifle or dangerous game rifle. Very rare to see a normal deer/elk rifle with iron sights as well. So I guess anything between 30-06 to 375 H&H.

That is more than likely a magnum rifle. The base plate looks very long for a 30-06 style cartridge

It was by chance. I took this in my backyard and just snuck up on them. Iv been wanting to get a picture of whitetails for some time now but they haven't been that much around unlike other years. A lot of it comes with the lens. Your camera body can do a lot and can make any shot look great but it all comes together with the lens. I recommend a 75-300mm lens for wildlife so you can give them there distance and not get too close, unless they approach you. "Like they did to me".

I have a question, how come some channel catfish have spines in their fins but others don’t? I’ve caught these channel catfish in the little souix river in iowa, and in one spot of the little souix they have large spines that hurt, but in other parts they don’t, and I don’t know what’s causing it, but I’m gonna try and reaserch it and see if I can get to the bottom of this phenomenon, I’ve asked multiple discord servers and people this question in the past but never got a straight Anwser

My next stop to try and find an Awnser is the iowa dnr office

And if they don’t have an answer then it’s all up to me to figure out this phenomenon, an ametur fisherman, science loving, not good with much else nerd

There is only two species of catfish in the little souix river, blue catfish and channel catfish, channel catfish are the most abundant
