It was from a Recycling company in California (extremerecyclinginc on Ebay). When they get perfectly functional electronics they just resell them for a good price.

I think a studio upgraded their fleet of Cintiqs and got a tax credit for recycling them

The company got them for free basically and was willing to sell at an extremely low price

So husband got me one for $340 as mentioned

My TV screen retails for about $1200 but it was on a clearout sale so husband got it for me for $899

I am never going to a smaller screen ever again

Here's a Blender for you. Husband took the models I made, simplified them a little, and then applied a wireframe modifier. He then used geometry nodes to make little lights along the wireframe, to make Christmas lawn ornaments. 🙂

Great work. Two things though. Left pic has the outline too heavy compared to the shading. There needs to be more shading to show where the head and neck meet for example. Pic on the right, the whole thing is pretty much the same, as in, there is no differentiation between the outline and the shading/details. With the shading, tilt your pencil to the side to make smoother, gentle shading with less lines showing. Keep it going, looking forward to seeing more of your work. 👍🏻

You should probably trace the animal for practice to get a better sense of the shapes. Their antlers are shaped very differently, and they have very small muzzles

they don't really have cheek fluff like that either, it's pretty consistent between the neck, throat latch, and cheek

I went ahead to create my own concept designs for Great Ones that aren't in the game.
After getting the game and learning about diamonds and great ones, I was a bit bummed out to see no other Great Ones besides Black Bear, Moose, Whitetail, Red Deer, and Fallow. Some of which do not hold that many variations (aka Red Deer) which I feel deserve so much more.

I've been drawing for many years now but I start with shapes first and start to draw according to reference. I have my own style but I still try to include realistic features to some degree ^v^

Best tip to start drawing is to start with shapes! Do whatever makes you comfortable, some people use circles, some use squares to get an idea of the mass, structure, and other features of an animal or thing that they are drawing ^v^
