Best time is 1:30 when almost all packs are at their drink zones, heart is hard to hit so don't really try to hit it - aim for both lungs just behind the shoulder blade. If you don't care about the medals or ethical kills use arzyna 300, if you want ethical kills you can go with arzyna 308 (?) I believe.
If you don't want to grind drink zones, wolves can find you if you disturb their peace, if they are coming close to you and are aggressive, use a bow so you wouldn't blow out their zone. When hunting these dawgs be sure to always have med packs on you, you might come across a trophy and die at the most unexpected moment. Also if you see running bison or moose they are probably spooked by wolves.

hunt during the same specific feed time and hunt 1 hour before the time ends as they are very very late to their zones. This is the map i use (ignore the red circle)

If you’re hunting a fresh map with no kills then most will be completely spread out

No I have shot atleast around 40+ snow leopards since last year on November because thats when I started a new game but its just very weird that there is no snow leopards at the hotspots or anywhere at the top of the map

And the snow leopards just stopped all of the sudden so idk of there is a diamond or rare since I never encountered one so
