Hyperion is the preferred choice for a lot of people despite the Argus having more magnification

also say what you will about the 1-4x starter scope, but you can make a very good argument for using it for goose grinding. Field of view is more important when trying to nail multiple geese at close range, and you dont have to hit any specific part of the goose. you just need to hit the goose.

callers and lures are your friend. take your time with shots, gauge the distance appropriately, start with bigger targets like red deer or moose until you get the trajectory down.

also crawling up to your prey and standing up to take a shot is viable, "like a pro" perk (shoot while prone) is very redundand since you will almost never use it. instead get pumping iron

I’m sure things like this have been asked many times, but I am really struggling. After 3 years of playing, I’ve finally decided to get into the hirschfelden missions. I am a taxidermist myself so I side more with collecting trophies than reenacting a realistic hunting experience. I’ve been stuck on the mission to shoot a fox with a bow for weeks now and just plain need some advice. How did you guys do it? I hardly ever use a bow so it’s definitely been a challenge for me.

use 420 grain arrows and hide in a bush, blind, stand, tripod etc, the caller will be your best friend and for finding Red Fox, if you have any zones in the area that you’re required to do it in, use them, if you don’t have any then you can run around and see if you can find one in a good spot where you’ll have a good view of the animal coming into the call and at the same time be hidden and then after you’ve scouted out the spot you just call, wait and shoot it.

set up a bunch of decoys, a tripod, and a tent. sit in the tripod and wait

you can even go do something else when you are waiting for the geese, then smoke them when they come in

i have a vv weird issue when playing. my entire pc freezes for a split second. it didnt do that before. 1080ti, 32GB ram, 3700x

sometimes itll be fine for a while other times it will not

its like a stutter, even my mouse gets frozen

Cotw is very resource heavy. I'm assuming this is happening while you have an encoder open ie obs or streamlabs obs?

This has happened to many creators I know of and it happened to me when I was on a single stream PC set up. Using a Webcam was often the offender. You can adjust those settings (ie turn off all the auto functions) which may help. Also setting cotw as a priority in windows, making sure you have your gpu prioritized etc.

Simple pc tune up can help as well. The above mentioned as well as windows power mode etc. Software overclock (I prefer msi afterburner) and a cpu overclock all helps. Shot me a message if you need help

It has happened over me setting up streamlabs (It straight up refused to open and said it didn't have enough memory to perform the task, despite me removing lots of apps I no longer used and having 300+ gb of free space) but usually it's tricky to get it to run even with other tabs in the background like youtube. It sucks since I listen to videos while I grind for rares and diamonds

Right now it's still in the process of reinstalling (Steam is reinstalling at around 2 mb/s... painful as hell) but it should have more wiggle room with less DLCs when I'll be done

Ahhh ok. Streamlabs obs uses more resources than OBS studio. Could be a starting point. However we could run thru some other options first before you go setting up a bunch of new sources ans scenes in OBS Studio.
